Frequently Asked Questions

Light, sound, breathing and the honest limits of what a product can do.

Which sleep mask suits a side sleeper?

Look for a contoured or zero-pressure design with eye cups and a strap that sits above the ear rather than across it. Flat masks with a broad elastic band slide off within an hour on most side sleepers, and a mask on your forehead blocks nothing.

Do sound machines loop?

Some do, and once you have noticed the loop point you will not stop hearing it. Fan-based machines produce sound mechanically and never loop, which is the whole reason they still exist. Digital machines vary, so the listing states which kind it is.

Why red light instead of a dim lamp?

Red-spectrum light at around 670 nm suppresses melatonin far less than white or blue light of the same brightness. It lets you read or move around the house late without undoing the wind-down you have just spent an hour on.

Will a weighted mask help me sleep?

Some people find gentle, even pressure across the eyes settling; others find any weight intolerable. It is a preference rather than a mechanism, and it is worth knowing that a weighted mask behaves quite differently once you turn onto your side.

Are the sleep aids safe to take?

We list ingredients and dosages exactly as the manufacturer states them and we make no medical claims. If you take other medication, are pregnant, or have a health condition, speak to a pharmacist or a clinician before use.

Do nasal strips help with snoring?

They can help where the restriction is in the nasal valve, and they do nothing at all where the cause is further back. If snoring is loud, long-standing, or comes with daytime exhaustion, that is a conversation for a doctor rather than a purchase.

How long does delivery take?

Handling and transit times and the daily cut-off are on the Shipping Policy page, and tracking is emailed on dispatch.

Can I return a mask I have tried?

Unused items in original packaging can be returned within the window on the Return & Refund Policy page. For hygiene reasons a worn mask cannot go back into stock, so that page sets out how those cases are handled.
