Sleep is a series of small decisions

2 productsFix the light before you buy anything else
Light is the cheapest sleep variable to control and the one people leave until last. A mask that genuinely blocks light and stays on through a side-sleeping night changes more than any supplement in this catalogue.

Which mask suits a side sleeper?
Look for a contoured or zero-pressure design with eye cups, and a strap that sits above the ear rather than across it. Flat masks slide off within an hour on most side sleepers.
Do sound machines loop?
Some do and it is audible once you notice it. Fan-based machines generate sound mechanically and never loop; digital machines vary, so the listing says which is which.
Why red light rather than a dim lamp?
Red-spectrum light at around 670 nm suppresses melatonin far less than white or blue light at the same brightness. That is the whole argument for it — it lets you read without resetting your wind-down.
Are sleep aids and supplements safe for me?
We list ingredients and dosages exactly as the manufacturer states them and make no medical claims. If you take other medication, are pregnant or have a health condition, speak to a pharmacist or clinician first.
